Transitioning In & Out of Work Mode


We used to commute more. It gave us the chance to make the subconscious switch from home mode to work mode and back. We benefit from that transition time, processing tensions, levelling emotions and resolving tensions. When our commute is from the kitchen to the living room, we are deprived the opportunity to re-calibrate. Creating a ritual to give yourself this opportunity helps mitigate stress.
